CUstom spice blends & Sauces
The Gypsy Jar brand is a line of custom seasoning blends and sauces that I developed while traveling as a freelance private yacht chef. Flying into foreign ports to join private yacht charters presented many challenges in provisioning ingredients required for my cooking. I realized it was necessary to bring along my own custom blends and concoctions so I could create the dishes that clients desired. As I traveled I discovered new foods and new flavors that enhanced my cooking. I incorporated them into my traveling spice jars which became one of my most important tools in the galley. When I retired from the yachting industry I realized that these gypsy jars had become a staple in my pantry. For holidays and special occasions I would mix up batches to send to friends and family. After many years and much encouragement from everyone, I have finally begun to produce and sell these custom seasoning blends to the home chef.
